Purpose:

In marking the silver jubilee year of our college, 2^nd Global Alumni meet is planned to be conducted on July 12, 2026. This award will be instituted by SREC AA to recognize and honour those alumni who have brought laurels to their alma mater by making significant and outstanding contributions to their profession, their businesses, and/or to the society.

Categories of award:

1. Senior Alumni – Alumni graduated from 1998 to 2010
2. Young Alumni – Alumni graduated from 2011 to 2023

Eligibility:

Any SREC alumnus who satisfies the following conditions is eligible for the award:

1. He/She should have completed a Full time programme from SREC

2. He/She should have made significant and outstanding contribution in one or more of the following fields (or categories):

a. Academia Excellence / Research

b. Technology Innovation Excellence

c. Public Administration / Managerial Excellence

d. Entrepreneurial Excellence

e. Service to the society / Excellence in other walks of life.

Category A: Academic Excellence / Research

Academic achievements and honours, intellectual contributions to the field of expertise, pioneering work, journal papers & citation indices, conference papers, books and book chapters, number of Ph.D. scholars guided, visiting professorships, lectureships, fellowships in professional associations, student mentoring & welfare activities, peer testimonials, awards & recognition

Category B: Technology Innovation Excellence.

Innovations in application of technology, design & development achievements, awards & recognition (external & internal), technical leadership activities & positions, fellowships in professional organizations, patents & publications, industry standards activities, collaborations with academia, community service.

Category C: Public Administration /Managerial Excellence.

Exceptional management skills, leadership position with company, awards & recognition, Board memberships, Fellowships, testimonials, global stature, Collaborations with academia, community service, team leadership in setting up new enterprises, mentoring track-record.

Category D: Entrepreneurial Excellence

Significant entrepreneurial skills & accomplishments, creation of support structure for entrepreneurs, success of start-ups in establishing market presence, scale of operation & reach to society, awards & recognition, coaching & advisory activities.

Category E: Service to Society / Excellence in Other Walks of Life.

Significant entrepreneurial skills & accomplishments, creation of support structure for entrepreneurs, success of start-ups in establishing market presence, scale of operation & reach to society, awards & recognition, coaching & advisory activities.

Nomination:

Significant accomplishments in various areas—service to society, excellence in public administration, notable achievements in media & fine arts, leadership and innovation, scale of impact.

The nominations can be made online along with supporting documents not later than 25th of June, 2026 in the following link (https://www.srecalumni.org.in/gams/nomination).

Selection Process:

A selection committee, with the following constitution, will be appointed by the Chairperson/ Convener to select the awardees. The selection committee shall consist of the following:

a. An eminent individual from academia, businesses, public life or an entrepreneur

b. Chairperson / Convener

c. One person of eminence outside the SREC, possibly an entrepreneur, a professional manager from industry, a public servant, or a social entrepreneur,

d. One senior faculty member from SREC

e. One SREC Alumnus, and

f. Patron / Principal

Award Presentation:

Awards will be presented during 2^nd Global Alumni Meet 2026 @ My Village – Eco Rural Resort 12th July 2026.

We request you to help us identify the alumnus by nominating those, who in your opinion should be considered for this award. Kindly submit the nominations through online latest by 25th June, 2026.
