Webinar Talk Series # 89 titled “Importance of Open-Source Contribution” was held on 20th February 2022 Sunday from 06.00 PM to 07.30 PM IST. Mr Kishore Chandran Alumnus 2012/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering was the guest speaker of the occasion. Around 50 participants joined the webinar across the globe using the WebEX Application. Dr.R.Sudhakar, Vice President, SREC AA welcomed the guest and the global audiences to the webinar talk series .The Speaker explained what is an open source, its importance, Pros and Cons of using it.The session was livelier with interactions from the audiences. Dr.C.J.Thomas Renald, Secretary, SRECAA thanked the guest and the audience for sparing time and thought to make this webinar a grand success during the closing remarks.
